ALTHOUGH RESORT SEASON HAS LONG PASSED, ELLE MAGAZINE FEATURED ARLENIS SOSA IN A SUN-SOAKED, PATTERN FILLED, VIBRANT COLORED SPREAD. SHOT BY CARTER SMITH, I GIVE THIS SPREAD TWO WORDS: EDITORIAL GENIUS.
Victoria Beckham graced the cover of Marie Claire US' November 2010 issue. I'm anxious to read the full feature story of Mrs. Beckham herself!
I can't help but to reminicse on the times when Kanye West was engaged to fashion designer and model Alexis Phifer. They could have potentially been a POWER couple by now!
"POP LUXE"
When Kanye West is asked to describe his style, he pauses for a second – but only a second. “It’s like…pop luxe. Pop and Luxury. Everything about me is pop and luxury.”

In West’s three-tier modern house at the foot of the Hollywood Hills, luxury is the thing you see. A pile of Louis Vuitton trunks greets guests inside the foyer; a waist-high neon-green Marc Newsom Dom Pérignon bottle sits in his office. Lush cashmere drapes line the windows overlooking Hollywood Boulevard. And a Crestron system allows West to control – Bill Gates-style – the house’s climate, lighting, and music from any computer in the world.
Yet despite the obvious luxe, the home hardly feels like the pimped-out pad one might expect from a multi-platinum-selling rapper. Maybe it’s because West, 30, prides himself on being more than that, or maybe it has something to do with his fiancée, fashion designer Alexis Phifer.
TO BE HONEST, I DID NOT LIKE THE COLLECTION IN IT'S ENTIRETY. THEREFORE I AM ONLY POSTING THE CHOSEN FEW THAT I FOUND REMARKABLE. I PREFERRED THEIR MORE VIBRANT, COLORBLOCK COMBINATIONS OVER THEIR TYPICAL NEUTRAL AND LEATHER PIECES. HERE ARE MY FAVORITES:

LAST THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH 2010, I WAS GRANTED WITH THE PRIVILEGE TO VIEW THE DAVIDELFIN SPRING/SUMMER 2011 COLLECTION UP-CLOSE AND PERSONAL AT THE LINCOLN CENTER. I MUST ADMIT, I AM TRULY IMPRESSED. DAVIDELFIN HAS ALWAYS BEEN RECOGNIZED FOR HIS USE OF ANDROGYNY AND REPETITION. THIS COLLECTION, IN WHICH HE ENTITLED "TAUTOLOGY" (THE REPETITION OF THE SAME THING IN DIFFERENT WAYS) IS THE IDEAL COMBINATION OF BOTH.
